CyberSentinel is regularly updated to include new features, updated e-safety settings and to keep up to date with new operating systems, web browsers and other changing technologies. Upgrading ensures you always have the best features and latest protection for your family. Is there a version history? A full release history is available here.
Will I lose all my settings or data? No, they are all safe on our server. None of your settings will be lost or change when you upgrade. You may occasionally notice a number of changes to the web based console as these pages are periodically updated and improved. How do I upgrade my machine(s)? Auto-updates work from version 3.1.5
and onwards. Simply right click on the CyberSentinel tool tray icon and select "Update" from the menu. Enter your CyberSentinel account username (email) and password.

Can I download the setup package to upgrade manually?  | Yes, download and run the new Setup application on each machine you have CyberSentinel installed on. If you are using version 3.0.0.6 or earlier, you will have to uninstall the old version before reinstalling the new version as there were significant changes made for this version. Download the latest Setup package now |  | Reboot the machine if requested. |  | Log in and use as normal - you may need to log on and off twice to ensure the new configuration changes are pulled down to the machine. Log in to your web based management console to view and configure new features. |
